Transistorized computer : ウィキペディア英語版 | Transistorized computer
In computer science, a transistorized computer is an electronic computer which uses transistors. The transistorization of electronic computers enabled manufacturers to build much more powerful computing machines than the pretransistorization era. Transistorization was a key factor in the success of the modern digital electronic computer. The integration era of the integrated circuit was a further advancement. Early electronic computers used vacuum tubes instead of transistors. As of 2014, all digital electronic computers are transistorized in the form of integrated circuits. Research in digital electronics continues as of 2014, and possible future applications of the memristor could potentially lead to the memristorization of digital electronics and therefore to memristorized computers. ==See also==
